The beautiful Salvini cichlid became popular among aquarists towards the end of the last century. Its reddish, fruit-colored side earned it the nickname "mango cichlid." Its bright and colorful coloring makes this fish very attractive. However, it has a rather aggressive nature, requiring careful consideration when keeping it in captivity.

Angelfish are the most popular aquarium cichlids. What they lack in vibrant natural coloration, they compensate with the beauty of their long fins and unusual body shape. Swimming in the water, angelfish appear to float weightlessly, supported by their long wing-like fins. With their refined appearance, these "angelfish," as they are nicknamed abroad, make a stunning impression.

Tetras is the general name for a group of fish belonging to the characin family. Their closest relatives include piranhas, swordtails, and wedge-bellied fish. These fish are native to slow-moving, heavily weeded rivers and streams flowing through the Amazon rainforest. The water in these bodies of water is soft, and the bottom is covered with leaf litter. This family includes species well known in the aquarium hobby, such as the blue neon tetra, black tetra, phantom tetra, and minor tetra.
