When spring arrives, a wide variety of birds can be found among the multi-voiced flocks. Among them is the small but very playful greenfinch. Its trill is always ringing, awakening nature from its slumber. These small creatures with their bright plumage are amazing and charming!

Bullfinches are amazingly beautiful birds, delighting people with their colorful appearance. However, they can only be admired in winter; in summer, they are simply impossible to see, as they change their coloring, become less colorful, and become completely immersed in caring for their young.

In our daily lives, as we simply walk from home to work, the store, or school, we are surrounded by a wide variety of birds and animals. They come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities, and they dazzle the depths of park alleys. The wagtail is no exception. This inconspicuous gray migratory bird is often seen on city streets and in parks. Wagtails are a genus of songbirds that includes four species native to Russia. However, the most common is the white wagtail.

A favorite of hunters, the black grouse lives in the forests of North Africa and Eurasia. Hunters call this large bird "black grouse," "birch grouse," "field rooster," and "black grouse." The female also has affectionate names: "black grouse," "field grouse," "hazel grouse," and "sorceress."

The sexes of this species are completely different from each other. The relatively small female is brown with a rufous tint and black speckles. She has a straight tail and white undertail coverts. She can weigh up to one kilogram.

A member of the crow family, the jay is a beautiful and colorful bird. Its very name comes from the Old Russian verb "to shine."

The bird can reach 34-40 cm in length and stand up to 15 cm tall. It typically weighs approximately 140-200 grams. Its wingspan slightly exceeds 50 cm.
