Dog diseases
A dog is a domestic animal that requires constant exercise. While outdoor walks are beneficial for a dog's health, parasites found in the environment can cause serious harm. Flea and lice infestations are quite common and can cause significant discomfort for dogs. These pests must be removed as quickly as possible to prevent them from causing further harm. Failure to seek prompt medical attention and begin treatment can lead to complications.
Pyoderma is a condition in which purulent inflammation develops on the superficial and deep layers of a dog's skin. It is believed to be secondary and occurs as a result of a number of other skin problems. It occurs in dogs of various breeds and ages. Gender also does not affect the manifestations.
There is not only a superficial form (affecting the upper layers of the skin), but also a deep form (muscles, fatty tissue) of the disease.
If a pet starts coughing, it doesn't necessarily mean there's something stuck in their throat. Coughing is caused by something, and there can be many reasons. However, when a dog is truly choking, they begin swallowing and coughing in an attempt to dislodge the obstruction. This coughing may be accompanied by spitting and vomiting. All of this is a reflex action, as the dog attempts to remove the stuck object. In this case, coughing is a defensive reaction. The body attempts to expel the foreign object from the lungs with a force of air. This actually helps when the bone isn't deeply lodged.
