My recipe for a healthy cat treat: made with simple ingredients in 20 minutes

For me, as for many pet owners, a cat is a full-fledged member of the family. And I take a responsible approach to the food he eats, because his health and well-being depend on it.

To ensure my pet receives a balanced diet, I adhere to the products recommended by our veterinarian. Of course, I still buy expensive, balanced food. I also give vitamins and fresh meat and vegetables approved for cats. Sometimes, I want to pamper him without compromising his health. But store-bought treats are unreasonably expensive and, to put it mildly, have less-than-ideal ingredients.

I puzzled over this question and came up with an interesting and delicious recipe that my cat couldn't resist. Anyone can make it, and it only takes about 20 minutes.

To make the "praise," I take 4 tablespoons of oatmeal, one egg, a can of any canned fish in its own juice (oil-based cans aren't suitable), and my cat's favorite vegetables (mine are zucchini, carrots, and potatoes). Then I blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. At this point, you can preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.

Then I take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Using damp hands, I form very small balls. These should be small enough for the cat to easily eat the whole ball, rather than having to bite off and chew. Next, I place everything on the parchment paper. For your convenience, you can grease the parchment with a little vegetable oil; it won't harm the cat.

I bake everything for about 10-15 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius. Then I let the "cookies" cool slightly. They can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Keep in mind that this amount of ingredients makes a lot of treats.
