- wait until the cat decides to rest there or put her there yourself;
- calm the pet, for example, by petting it;
- Subtract the weight of the basket from the total weight.
If you have a scale with weights, a cherished sleeping basket or mat will also work. The algorithm is simple:
- we put the basket on the scales;
- we place a counterweight on the other side;
- we lay the cat down and also place weights up to the balance mark;
- the cat is free, then we add up the weight of all the loads, except for those that were placed for the basket.
Please note that this procedure takes longer and is therefore more stressful for your pet. Remain calm and avoid any sudden movements to avoid frightening your pet.
Everyone knows that cats love to play with bags. If you have a canter, this is a big advantage.

- lure your favorite animal into the bag (move it or put food in it)
