Madder is available in tablets, which are packaged in blister packs. A pack may contain ten to sixty tablets, each weighing 250 mg. They are scored in the middle, brown or light brown in color, and have speckles.
Each tablet contains dry extract of madder and additional elements:
- croscarmellose sodium;
- calcium stearate;
- milk sugar (lactose);
- collodion silicon dioxide;
- potato starch.
