Features of Taran
Taran is a highly concentrated product that will help get rid of ticks, as well as insects such as flies, bedbugs, mosquitoes, fleas, cockroaches, etc. This drug can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Taran is a tick repellent that is a modern, effective product that destroys many parasitic insect species.
The product is a milky liquid, which contains:
- the main active ingredient is zetacypermethrin 10%;
- emulsifiers;
- water;
- antifoaming agents;
- antifreeze.
Zetacipermethrin is an improved version of cypermethrin, which has long been widely used to control ticks and insects.
Taran combats ticks by blocking their nerve endings, which subsequently kills the parasites at any stage of their development. The product penetrates the tick's body through its chiton and mouth. Adult ticks are killed almost immediately, and the eggs are prevented from developing further. They die because they are unable to hatch during the product's full duration of action. And it works for quite a long time - up to two months.
The drug is available in two versions:
- 50 ml bottles;
- one-liter canisters.
A bottle of the product costs about 150 rubles, and a canister costs 1,900 rubles. Taran-Antikleshch spray for clothing is also available, available in 100-milliliter bottles. The spray itself costs about 100 rubles.

To treat one square meter of a room, you will need 50 milliliters of solution for hard surfaces and 100 for soft surfaces.
Open area treatment
Taran is effective at killing ticks in areas where they live, including forests, summer cottages, campsites, and other areas. To carry out tick removal work, you will need a respirator, gloves and a protective suit.
Disinfestation should be carried out three to five days before the arrival of people. The weather forecast should exclude precipitation for the next three days after treatment.
Before processing, you need to prepare the area:
- mow the grass;
- get rid of a layer of fallen leaves;
- In areas located in the forest, it is necessary to create barriers 50–100 meters wide.
All that remains is to spray the preparation over the entire area; it must be applied to all surfaces found in the area.
It is only possible to pick mushrooms and berries or let livestock out to pasture in areas that have been treated after forty days.

Reviews
Taran is a decent product. It has a ton of advantages: First, it's odorless. At least I can smell the concentrate, and it has a neutral odor. (When spraying without PPE, I still sneeze.) Second, it's a very good and AFFORDABLE acaricide. Guys, it's a dream come true in the spring. I used a canister a day (I spray a lot, from morning until night). Customers are happy; within an hour or two, all the ticks are dead, and there's no stench. Third, the price/consumption ratio for this quality of insect repellent is absolutely superb.
The drug is the best.
I've been using Taran for a long time. It's a good product, I've tried it. Before spring hunting, I hang up my clothes and spray them religiously. More than once, I've seen a tick crawl onto my clothes, and within 15-20 seconds, it would become ill. Its movements would slow down, and it would fall off. I always treat my blinds with this chemical. There's also a concentrated chemical for treating areas, sold in gardening stores under various names. You need to check the instructions. Two years ago, I brought one with zetacypermethrin for the spring hunt. We sprayed the campsite and the blinds. We didn't see any ticks in the camp during the entire hunt.
Taran is popular among both ordinary residents and pest control services. It has proven itself to be highly effective, making it a reliable choice for protecting many apartments and properties from dangerous ticks.
