Animals, like people, are often born with appearance flaws. A dog with a crooked jaw is proof of this.
The breeders also gave a small pit bull terrier named Picasso to a local shelter.
His brother Pablo also ended up there after his owners abandoned him.
For a long time, owners could not be found for the dogs.
And the shelter was already planning to euthanize them.
The brothers' fate was changed by representatives of an animal rights organization who posted Picasso's photos on the Internet.
The dog became a real star and many people wanted to take dogs into their families.
Animal welfare worker Liesl Wilhard says she fell in love with the unique dog just from his photograph.
Picasso has no health problems, only a crooked face: the upper jaw looks to the right and does not overlap the lower one.
When eating food, the dog has to bend to the side.
Picasso is currently preparing for surgery to remove the protruding canine tooth that's been bothering him.
Once Picasso recovers, the dogs will be given to their new owners.
Shelter representatives are already in negotiations with potential owners.
The brothers will be sent from the shelter only in pairs, as they have become very attached to each other.
Considering that the dogs are famous all over the world, they will soon become someone's favorite and find their own home.
I would like to believe that Pablo and Picasso will have a wonderful dog life and that everything they had to endure will be left far behind.
