A happy dog story: a shelter dog found a home in America.

A small dog was rescued from the "death" enclosures and lived in a shelter for 6 months.

About six months ago, a tiny white dog was taken to the "death kennels" where captured dogs are euthanized. Staff at the "Friend" dog shelter took the little one in and kept her. From that moment on, the girl never gave up hope that every subsequent visitor to the shelter would become her new owner. But no one paid any attention to the fragile little dog.

Six months later, the woman, who had lived in Omsk and moved to America, returned home with her husband to visit relatives and adopt a new family member—a dog. The family already knew they wanted to adopt an animal from a shelter. That's when they met Kapelka—the very same dog rescued from the kennels. Now the happy little dog is set for a long journey to a new home.
