Sanya and his owner don't live alone. Gosha joined their family. The Abyssinians desperately needed a friend, so they decided to get a second cat. At the time, a blind kitten with problems was looking for a home. People kept returning him—they didn't realize how difficult it would be to keep a blind cat.
Sanya was given to a new family for a 10-day trial period. He settled into the cozy home perfectly.
He navigates the apartment just as well as his sighted "brother" and even won the litter box battle! There are two in the bathroom, both Gosha's.
The animals cannot be called inseparable friends; they are still getting used to each other.
The difficulty is that they are males. Sanya has a hard time giving up his territory to his blind neighbor, who has already won the right to sleep next to his owner at night and doesn't seem to mind the Abyssinian's slight hostility.
Gosha doesn't let anyone take advantage of him and certainly doesn't think he's inferior to Sanya in any way. He's just as sweet, slim, and handsome, albeit with a certain quirk.
Cats are quite difficult to capture in a group photo. They certainly share affection for each other, but in the feline world it's more distant. A cat psychologist advised them to come up with a game to play together. And they found a hobby—hide-and-seek! Sanya hides in a secluded corner. His owner says, "Sanya, Sanya, where are you?" and Gosha realizes he needs to look for his friend. He runs around the apartment, using his sense of smell to try to locate the Abyssinian. And he often succeeds!
