People rescued a puppy that the shelter wanted to euthanize because it was considered too nervous.

Puppy Odin ended up at a shelter. He was deemed too nervous and was euthanized. However, a family was found who took him in.

In Kansas, a puppy named Odin accidentally ended up at a shelter. He was so frightened and stressed that he nearly lost his life.

Living in shelters where many animals are kept in cramped spaces is difficult even for a healthy animal.

For a puppy raised on the street, being in such places can cause even more psychological trauma. One was extremely afraid, so he constantly sat in a corner, huddled up in a ball.

After observing the puppy's behavior, shelter management decided the animal would not survive in the shelter and would be best euthanized. They announced this on social media.

By a stroke of luck, a small private shelter in Colorado, The Misfits Dog Rescue, learned of this. The people from Colorado had to travel a long way to save the pet. Fortunately, they arrived in time and were able to take custody of Odin. A family was soon found willing to take him into their home.

Alone on a hike

At first, the puppy had a hard time adjusting to the new environment. But eventually, he got used to it and began spending a lot of time with his new family. One of them became friends with a dog named Luna. They enjoy walking together, lounging on the couch, and going on hikes.

The puppy has completely overcome his fear of people. He loves being petted, even by strangers.
