Akita Inu

The Akita Inu is a dog breed that originated in Japan many years ago. Puppies of this breed are captivating, even for those with a generally relaxed attitude toward dogs. Everyone knows the touching Japanese story of Hachiko, who was an Akita Inu. In their homeland, these puppies are considered a symbol of devotion, as Akita Inus are very attached to their owners and always strive to be by their side.

The Akita Inu is one of the oldest dog breeds, having spawned an entire subculture around itself. Japanese people write children's books and songs in their honor, and erect monuments. Photos of Akita Inus adorn bus stops and subway stations. And in the famous Hollywood remake of the Japanese film "Hachiko," the Akita Inu symbolizes the most significant concepts for all humanity: kindness, love, and devotion.

Humans have long since domesticated dogs, which have become not only pets but, above all, true friends with whom they can share both sorrows and joys. Dog breeding has become a sought-after practice over time, as humans simply cannot do without such a reliable companion.

Everyone has different attitudes towards small breed dogs: some consider them too restless and demanding, while others, on the contrary, are touched when looking at these cheerful, perky little ones.

However, it's an undeniable fact that these playful dogs are easier and more convenient to keep in a city apartment than larger breeds. Furthermore, they don't necessarily have to be left alone in an empty apartment; you can take this tiny furry creature to restaurants and stores, ride the subway, and even transport it in the car.

The history of fighting dog breeds began several thousand years ago. These dogs were originally bred for duels and animal baiting. They are similar in appearance and possess endurance. Today, fighting dogs are used exclusively as guard dogs or family pets, as fighting between them is prohibited in many countries.
