Pets' unusual behavior often shocks their owners. Cats, for example, have many strange habits. But there's a logical explanation for them.

Why does a cat take food out of its bowl?

This can happen for two reasons:

2. Pets often remove food from their bowls even if there's a water bowl nearby. Cats drink only clean water and don't tolerate any debris in it, so they remove food.
