The fumigator works with plates or liquid

Raptor fumigators are available in two colors: green (classic) and pink (children's).

The children's fumigator differs from the usual one only in color.

Raptor fumigators are equipped with a rotating plug, which allows the device to be connected to vertical and horizontal sockets.

Plates

Raptor sheets are sold in packs of ten. They contain the active ingredient Etoc®, a highly effective, modern contact insecticide developed in Japan. This substance is completely safe for people and pets and is effective only against insects. Additionally, the ingredients include:

• synergist;
• dye;
• fragrance;
• stabilizer;
• solvent.

Raptor plates are odorless and provide protection against bloodsuckers for eight hours.

The plates may have a light green or yellow tint.

The principle of operation is to slowly heat the plate using a fumigator, causing the active ingredient to evaporate. The insecticide penetrates the insect's body through its respiratory system and chitinous covering, causing paralysis and death.

Raptor plates come in three varieties:

• classic;
• Bio, contains chamomile extract; designed for people with increased sensitivity to chemicals;
• Nekusayka is a plate specially designed to protect children from mosquitoes.

Raptor Bio and Nekusayka plates contain a natural insecticide, pyrethrum. Extracted from mountain chamomile, this insecticide has long been used to control insects; it is plant-based and has no harmful effects on humans.

Using powdered dried chamomile flowers is an old folk remedy for controlling insects in the home.

Even Nekusayka plates cannot be used for children under three years of age.

Using the plates is very easy, all you need is a fumigator and a 220 V outlet nearby:

1. Open the package, take out one plate and place it in the fumigator.
2. Plug the device into a power outlet. The device should be positioned horizontally.
3. After 10–20 minutes the plate will begin its work.
4. When using the device with open windows, we recommend leaving it running overnight (but only with the window open and for no more than 8 hours). This will prevent further insects from entering your sleep.

The fumigator should be positioned so that the plate in it lies horizontally.

To ensure the device works at its best, do not plug it into sockets located behind furniture. Plug in the device half an hour before bedtime. This will eliminate any existing mosquitoes, preventing them from disturbing your sleep. Placing the device upstream will help the insecticide spread more quickly throughout the room and have a more effective mosquito control effect.

The plates have a five-year lifespan and are manufactured in Italy. The price per pack ranges from 50 to 115 rubles, depending on the type of plates. A set of 10 plates and one fumigator costs about 200 rubles.

Liquid

To insert the liquid bottle into the fumigator, remove the cap. The next step is the same as when using the plates.

The liquids have a five-year shelf life. They are made in Italy. Price: from 140 to 220 rubles. A kit with a fumigator starts at 240 rubles.

Spirals and rods

The product has a spiral shape, hence its name. It should be used in open areas.

Contains a highly effective new generation active ingredient, d-allethrin

The composition includes:

• d-allethrin - 0.25%;
• dye;
• fragrance;
• stabilizer;
• wood filler.

The wood filler burns brilliantly, producing smoke. The coil is coated with the insecticide d-allethrin, which evaporates during combustion, killing mosquitoes. This mosquito repellent has a range of three meters and lasts for seven hours. The kit includes 10 coils and a stand.

Carefully bend the stand on the metal stand and firmly secure the spiral to it; there is a special slot on the spiral for this purpose.

Principle of use:

1. Open the package and separate the coils.
2. Bend back the metal post at the stand.
3. Place the spiral on the stand.
4. Light the tip of the spiral. Once it's lit, blow it out.

The stand with the spiral should be placed in a shallow fireproof container so that the ash falls into it.

Place the coil in a fireproof container to prevent falling ash from scattering and polluting the surrounding area.

To achieve greater efficiency, it is better to place several spirals around the perimeter of the area where you are located. You should also know that the best effect is achieved in windless weather.

This means of protection has two significant disadvantages:

1. Suitable for outdoor use only.
2. Unsafe for humans. Scientists have proven that this product is quite dangerous for humans. The insecticides released can accumulate in the body, causing cancer and other serious consequences.

To protect yourself from the consequences, do not use coils too often and stay away from the working product. Do not use them in enclosed spaces and follow all instructions and precautions.

The smoke from the coil is dangerous for both insects and humans.

The advantage of coils is their portability: they don't require power outlets or batteries. Another positive aspect is their low cost. A pack of ten coils costs about 80 rubles. They are manufactured in Malaysia and have a five-year shelf life.

Raptor rods work the same way as spirals, but have a greater range of action - 4 meters, but a shorter protection period - only two hours. The end of the rod has a metal stem that allows you to insert the product into the soil. In addition to d-allethrin and a wood base, the product contains dyes and citronella oil. Compared to spirals, rods work faster.

The refills have a three-year shelf life and are manufactured in China. A pack of five costs about 250 rubles.

Aerosols

The manufacturer produces three types of mosquito repellents. Their advantages include:

• can protect not only from mosquitoes, but also from flies, ticks, wasps and other insects;
• can be used both indoors and outdoors;
• does not require a power outlet, batteries or accumulators;
• do not have unpleasant odors.

The shelf life of each Raptor aerosol is three years.

Mosquito repellent aerosol

Suitable for outdoor use. Ideal for mosquito protection during picnics, fishing trips, and more. It has a lemon scent. It can protect against crawling insects: you just need to spray the aerosol on the grass.

The aerosol contains: transfluthrin, propane-butane evacuator and water.

Directions for use:

1. Shake the can before spraying. Hold the can upright when spraying.
2. Spray the product for six to seven seconds at a distance of 50 cm from the surfaces to be treated.
3. To kill crawling insects, apply the product to the area where they gather.
4. Treat shrubs and grass if outdoors. When using the product on verandas and terraces, treat windows, doors, and stair railings.

After spraying the aerosol, the active substance begins to evaporate, creating a barrier against insects. After 8 hours, you need to spray the product again. If it rains or there is a strong wind, spraying should be done more frequently.

This mosquito repellent aerosol is available in 400-milliliter bottles. It's made in the Czech Republic. The price for a single bottle starts at 380 rubles.

Aerosol against flying insects

This aerosol is for indoor use. It does not contain ozone-depleting substances. The active ingredient is permethrin. It works within 15 minutes. Protects not only from mosquitoes, but also from flies and wasps. It has a pleasant orange aroma.

The composition includes the following components: permethrin, tetramethrin, synergist, hydrocarbon solvent, propellant

Instructions for use:

1. Close all windows and doors in the room being treated.
2. Shake the can and spray for twenty seconds.
3. Leave the treated room for a quarter of an hour.
4. Then you need to ventilate the room for an hour.

When sprayed, the aerosol molecules are distributed throughout the room and begin to affect insects: permethrin penetrates through the respiratory system and the chitinous layer of the body, thereby causing paralysis and death.

This flying insect repellent spray is available in 275-milliliter bottles. It is manufactured in Russia. Individual prices start at 191 rubles.

Universal aerosol

This universal aerosol is designed to protect premises from various types of insects. The main active ingredients are tetramethrin, cypermethrin, and imiprothrin. The product is capable of ridding an apartment or house of 17 types of parasites. It acts instantly and protects the room for one month. The aerosol can penetrate even the most inaccessible areas.

The aerosol contains: tetramethrin; cypermethrin, imiprothrin; hydrocarbon solvent; hydrocarbon propellant (propane, butane, isobutane), fragrance

Application method:

1. Shake the bottle and hold it upright.
2. Spray the contents of the bottle from a distance of twenty centimeters onto areas where a large number of insects have been noticed, as well as along their routes of movement and possible habitats.
3. After twenty minutes, you need to ventilate the room for half an hour.

When sprayed, the product forms droplets that fall on insects, killing them instantly. The droplets contain an insecticide that penetrates the insects' chitinous layer and respiratory system, causing death. Furthermore, droplets that settle on surfaces and floors will also kill insects when they land or crawl on them.

The universal aerosol contains 275 milliliters of product. It is manufactured in Russia. Prices start at 265 rubles.

Flashlight

The Raptor mosquito repellent lantern has an attractive appearance, reminiscent of an antique wrought iron lantern. The device is sold in sets consisting of a plastic housing, a candle, and a plate.

The lantern can be placed on a table or hung by the holder.

The plate consists of:

• active ingredient d-allethrin;
• functional additives.

The candle is made of paraffin, and the body itself is made of polymer plastic.

Only Raptor plates and candles can be used with the Raptor flashlight.

The lantern should be placed outdoors, but it can also be used indoors, but only for no more than 15–20 minutes. This will be enough to make the insects fly away from the room.

The principle of operation is that a candle placed inside the flashlight's body heats the plate when ignited, causing it to emit substances that create a protective barrier around the flashlight and within a 16-20 square meter radius of the device. This protection lasts for five hours.

To start the flashlight you need to:

1. Press the latches at the bottom of the light and remove the housing.
2. Place the candle at the bottom of the device and light it.
3. Return the lampshade to its place and gently press it to the bottom of the device until it clicks into place.
4. Open the package with the plate, take it out and place it in the compartment at the top of the case.
   

   The flashlight is quite easy to use.

It is necessary to use only the special plates and candles that are included with the flashlight, as they are created specifically for this device. The candle is equipped with a filter that maintains the desired temperature, and the wax is designed to last for a specific period of time - until the plate runs out.

How to choose a mosquito repellent

When choosing a mosquito repellent, you need to pay attention to several factors:

• where the product will be used;
• a drug is needed that gets rid of only mosquitoes or other insects as well;
• for whom the product is being chosen (for children or adults);
• financial opportunity.

There's a special line of Raptor Nekusayka products for children, the products of which are safe for children. However, they can only be used from age three.

There are no contraindications for the use of Raptor products for pregnant women.

There are no contraindications for the use of Raptor products during pregnancy. Therefore, they are safe to use, but many expectant mothers are hesitant to do so. In such cases, it's better to use special creams, mosquito bracelets, and ultrasonic repellents that don't emit any odors.

Reviews

Raptor's liquid is my reliable partner in the fight against flying insects. It lasts a little over a month, as recommended, but only if you leave it on all night. We sleep in the same room with our small child, and it hasn't affected our health at all, believe me. The doses are so tiny that you won't even notice or feel them.

My review will be about the Raptor Mosquito, Fly, and Wasp Repellent Aerosol with Citrus Scent, 275ml. While there are plenty of mosquito repellent aerosols and sprays, there are virtually no products for flies and wasps. The room will remain pleasantly scented with citrus (though still more of a chemical smell), but, fortunately, it's not nauseating. Sometimes the smells of various repellents are simply awful. This one is tolerable. The Raptor aerosol is proven to be 100% effective; afterward, there are no more mosquitoes or flies.

When I plug in the mosquito repellent, the room is mosquito-free within half an hour, and I can sleep peacefully. I don't know the cost of each mosquito repellent, as we bought a complete set: the mosquito repellent and 12 mosquito repellent pads for 45 hryvnia, or about 110 rubles. It's not that expensive. I can recommend Raptor mosquito repellent pads, as they are truly effective.
