5 ways to remove pet hair from clothes without washing or vacuuming

It's undoubtedly a blessing to have pets in the house. They bring us so much joy and warmth, and they lift our spirits. But there are also downsides: pet hair can end up on clothes and furniture. So, it's important to know how to easily remove it from your clothes.

Clothes roller

You can buy special lint rollers for cleaning clothes at a hardware store. They are very simple and easy to use.

Hold the roller by the handle and roll it over the garment, collecting dirt on the sticky roller. The fur adheres to the adhesive strips, which are glued to the roller in several layers and are removed once they are no longer sticky. When one roll is finished, you can replace it with another.

Scotch

As an alternative to a store-bought roller, use a homemade one. This way, you won't have to spend money on replacement sticky notes.

To create this technique, you'll need duct tape and a paint roller. Wrap a single layer of duct tape around the roller and roll it over the item several times. If the fur stops sticking, peel off the old layer of tape and apply a new one.

A damp kitchen sponge

You can get rid of dirt by wet cleaning.

Using a lightly dampened kitchen sponge, wipe the clothes or furniture, creating lint that can be easily removed later. As you clean, periodically dampen the sponge, removing any lint beforehand.

Medical gloves

Rubber has excellent static properties and therefore attracts wool very well.

Wearing a rubber glove makes cleaning easier and faster by simply running your palm over the surface of the item. To enhance the effect, warm the gloves with a hairdryer or briefly place them on a radiator – the fur will naturally begin to stick to your hand.

Antistatic

Typically, antistatic is used to prevent potential wool hazards by pre-treating items. But we'll do the opposite.

First, apply an anti-static spray to the garment to eliminate static electricity and prevent hair from clinging. Then, brush or wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
