For inexperienced dog owners, potty training a puppy can be a major challenge. This process requires patience and knowledge. If, for example, you start yelling at your dog or even physically punishing him, you're unlikely to achieve immediate success, but you could ruin your relationship with him for a long time. Meanwhile, there are many ways to train a puppy not to poop in the house.
Diaper or newspapers
Until your pet is fully vaccinated, you can't take them outside. This means they must relieve themselves indoors. But where?
Yorkies are comfortable as small dogs; litter boxes are usually provided for them in the house, just like cats. However, it's not customary for a larger dog to use a litter box. However, at first, you'll still need to designate a designated litter box for the puppy. This could be a large litter box, but newspapers or special pads are more commonly used.
A very young puppy can't hold back for long without relieving itself. It doesn't even understand at first that it's not allowed. Try to show it that you don't like it. Just do this with your tone and voice, and definitely don't yell.
First, place a newspaper or blanket near your puppy's sleeping area so it's visible. Puppies typically try to relieve themselves immediately after sleeping or eating, sniffing the floor. Catch this moment and quickly bring your new companion to the newspaper. If the puppy does its business there, praise it and pet it. After a while, it will come to the newspaper or blanket on its own.
Over the course of several days, the diaper can be gradually moved closer to the door, and then the pet will associate the entrance to the apartment with its toilet. This will come in handy when you start walking.
This method will not produce results immediately, but many dog trainers consider it the main method for very young four-legged friends.
Lots of newspapers
There's an interesting, but no less effective, option. When leaving, the puppy is locked in a small room where the entire floor is first covered with newspapers. It gets used to doing its business on them. After a while, the newspapers are removed one by one. Eventually, only one remains, in the desired location.
Frequent walks
If possible, take your pet for walks more often when possible. Try not to play with them until they've eliminated. And be sure to reward them when they do.
Chemical

"Smart Spray" is a hygienic product for developing a reflex in dogs to defecate in a specially designated place.
There are special products that can be sprayed on areas where the puppy continues to defecate, no matter what. This will discourage it from doing so in those specific areas. If no products are available, you can wipe the floor with a weak vinegar solution.
Walking with other dogs
Sometimes, after being trained to use a diaper, your little friend refuses to do what's required outside. In this case, you can walk them until they're exhausted, but it's much easier to let them go out with older animals. A clear example is a great thing!
The key here is to be patient and avoid physical punishment. And remember, dogs don't fully gain self-control until they're about five months old.
