Dogs of this breed have a truly strong character. Alabai are independent, serious, and willful. Since training plays a key role in shaping their character, it should begin from a very early age. They are also extremely sensitive: under no circumstances should they be hit, humiliated, or yelled at.
If an Alabai is dissatisfied with something, it will reveal its true nature, which includes aggression and dominance. Anyone who decides to adopt a dog of this breed should be strong-willed and unyielding.
