The scariest cat in the world

Genetic experiments on animals are nothing new. While nature wanted to create living creatures fit for survival, humans wanted to have some fun. One of the results of this fun was the Lykoi cat breed. They are considered the most terrifying cats in the world. Lykoi were bred for those who, for fun, wanted to have both a cuddly cat and a vampire bat in their home. In appearance, these cats resemble some kind of cheap, unsuccessful special effect from an 80s vampire or werewolf movie.

The Lykoi's truly terrifying fur is a genetic defect that some particularly enthusiastic experimenters have decided to refine and strengthen in nature.

Vampire cats have become publicly available relatively recently; this mutation occurred in domestic cats within the last 20 years. The genetic experiment will be considered a success if, within the next 7-8 years, none of the small number of representatives of the breed develops any illnesses (diseases refer to DNA defects).

The enthusiastic authors are Americans who have been interested in breeding since their school days.

The lack of hair on the Lykoi's face gives the breed a werewolf-like appearance.

Currently, only 19 families are the owners of these “fluffy ones”.

Of course, beauty is a relative concept. And even sometimes horrific genetic experiments can produce something unique, whose terrifying appearance will not repel, but attract.
