The Asian Shepherd is one of the oldest dog breeds, remaining unchanged even after thousands of years. Research suggests the breed is approximately 7,000 years old, although precise information is lacking. Many scientists believe this shepherd is only 3,000-4,000 years old, while others believe otherwise.

The ancestors of the German Shepherd arrived in southern Germany in 74 AD. They were herding dogs that accompanied the warriors of the Roman Empire.

Since the late 18th century, shepherds in northern Germany have been selecting dogs that are robust, hardy, obedient, and fast. At that time, all dogs that herded flocks were called shepherds. Translated from German and English, "shepherd" means "sheep dog." Dog shows were held to evaluate the dogs' appearance and working abilities.

The Bernese Mountain Dog is a relatively rare breed for most people. Experts know it as the Bernese Mountain Dog. It is a herding dog breed native to Switzerland, near the city of Bern. It's no coincidence that these dogs are called the models of the canine world, as they are considered one of the most beautiful breeds on earth.
